Probably taken in Polk County around 1910-1920. Colonel J. Standridge (name not title) was born on November 26, 1891, in Montgomery County, Arkansas (on the right with the work coat and slouch hat), and Jesse James Beck (July 21, 1897) poses on the left with the overalls. They were cousins. They have a pair of fine hunting dogs and are well-armed with a single-shot shotgun and a nice lever action rifle. JJ wears a nice pair of gloves with a star on the wrist. Standridge served during World War I as a private. In the 1920 US Census, they are boarders in the home of Tom & Faydeta Spake in Big Fork, Polk County, and work at the sawmill.
