Early Arkansas Hunters: 1920s Searcy County

Around 1928, Searcy County citizens Franklin Babe Barnes (September 30, 1911) and James Morris Barnes (September 27, 1920) posed with their dog, old car, and three shotguns. Two are semi-automatics, and the other is a single-shot. Those guns are longer than James Morris is tall! I wonder which gun he shot? Franklin later became a refrigeration repairman and died in California in 1999. James Morris Barnes served during World War II and worked as a music teacher. Image source: Ancestry.
