Jesse Martin was born in Heltonville, Indiana (August 13, 1890-March 19, 1969), but by 1910, he was living in Wilson, Arkansas, in Faulkner County, with his wife, Mary Hester. In 1920, he was still farming and had six children. He is pictured here with two hunting dogs and a pump shotgun in Faulkner County sometime in the 1920s.
