Little Rock Sportsman, Anheuser-Busch employee, and secretary of the Big Lake Club, Julius Mons partnered with ex-Little Rock Mayor W. R. Duley in 1903 (He would serve again as mayor in 1908-1911) to form the sporting shop that bore their name. Railroad man and banker Aristo Brizzolara served as the business’s vice president. The Duley-Mons Arms Company remained in business only a few years before it dissolved.
