As followers have seen in my previous postings, this club was one of the earliest clubs founded in Arkansas by Arkansawyers (1886). It was located 14 miles by rail southeast of Little Rock, between present-day Wrightsville and Woodson. Forty-one of Little Rock’s elite formed the club for hunting and fishing and to buy and sell land to support it. None of these men are identified. In the near future, this image will become part of the Arkansas Hunting and Fishing Project archives at the University of Central Arkansas and will be available digitally. #hounds #horses #deerhunt
